Add CHILD Node to Linksys Mesh Rounter (MX4200) (Solved)

Manual Setup (No Linksys App Needed)

  1. PARENT node is normal node (Blue light)
  2. Reset CHILD node – Press RESET until 10-15 seconds (RED light -> Blind until Off) then wait for 1 minute until turn to Purple Light.
  3. Press RESET 5 times (Normal Speed, 不快不慢) of PARENT machine, then the PARENT node will find the CHILD node automatically.
  4. (If it is not suscess), Connect both Routers with Ethernet Cable. One side connects with the Lan port of PARENT node, Another side connects to the Internet port of CHILD node.
  5. Login to the web admin, Setup -> Dynamic IP, Save the Router IP
  6. Disconnect the Ethernet Port and restart the CHILD node
